As a newer parent I have already become more aware of the responsibility and fear of raising a child in a world that degrades the value of people through gross mediums of entertainment. Often it is overwhelming to see all the temptations present and the lack of strong voices to speak on behalf and to the purity of our children.
With that said I encourage you as parents to be vigilant and active in your discussions with your children about purity. I fully recommend utilizing tools in your quest for purity. I recommend looking at XXXChurch and specifically, look at the free web accountability program X3Watch This allows two chosen friends or family to be sent an email on a regular basis of potentially questionable sites visited. The creators of XXXChurch are very intent on exposing pornography and sexual impurity for what it is and to encourage growth out of those ways. It is time we as the church began to deal with this silent sin that has ruined lives, families, and ministries.
